The cannon is a US M101A1, 75 mm, originally 105 mm, manufactured in the USA between 1942 and 1944.
Location: Vardø Fortress, Norway.

About Eva Schmeckenbecher

Born in Tübingen in 1977, she studied architecture and urban research at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, painting and intermedia design at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, and completed basic training in theatre education at the LAG Theater und Schule in Reutlingen. Since 2000, her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Germany and abroad.
